Here is a picture of our apple bulletin board. We have used apples to help us learn about fall, being scientists, and art.

Writing Progress

As a class, we are working on progressing in writing. We have learned several sight words together as a class and try to incorporate them into our writing as much as we can. We are also practicing sounding out words (phonetically) all by ourselves!

Teddy Bear Picnic

Our Teddy Bear Picnic was a huge success! Not only did the students get to enjoy an afternoon of picnicking with family and friends, but they got to practice their new math skills in a fun way. We sorted our stuffed animals into different categories, made a human bar graph, and recorded our results on a real graph. Thank you to everyone who helped to make this afternoon one to remember!

Sorting

We have been working this week on sorting things as many ways as we can based on their different attributes. We have sorted dinosaurs, buttons, and soon our stuffed animals!

Run For Funds

Our class (both AM and PM) did a phenomenal job running their best and raising money for our PTA- thank you to all of those who came out to support, donated their time and/ or money, and participated in any way! Enjoy the free kid's meal from Texas Roadhouse that your child earned :)
