Polar Express Party and Santa's Visit

Our Polar Express party was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who donated and helped out. Santa made a visit during the movie to pass out candy canes. And we even had enough time at the end to have a dance party! The children had such a wonderful time!

Christmas Time

Our grade was in charge of decorating the glass case in the main hallway across from our room this month. We sewed yarn stockings and hung them by the "fireplace". I also decorated our door to look like a reindeer stable!

Letters to Santa

We wrote letters to Santa in hopes that he could find out what we want for Christmas as well as write a letter back to us. I hope Santa can find a way to answer our letters! We'll be checking the mail!

Look Alike Day

We had a look alike day at school where students got to dress up like somebody else. One child decided to dress up like me! It was adorable! And as they say- imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. :)

Thanksgiving Party

After learning about the pilgrims and Native Americans, we had a feast of our very own. Each child got to pretend to be either a pilgrim or Native American as we ate out potluck meal. We learned so much about the start of our great country. It was also a great week for all of the students to talk about things they are grateful for!
